Zorro the Puppy Finds A Home (More in Need of Our Help)
UPDATE: Zorro’s awesome new parents just told me that Zorro is super healthy, and sent these two new pics of the growing boy:
With some help from friends – Alice, Ed, Liam, the awesome people at IdogIcat, and the staff and customers at Cafe Zarah – this little goofball just got himself a great new home.
While I normally don’t care too much about such matters as a dog’s breed–a dog in need is a friend in need. But, in Zorro’s case, it seems worth mentioning that he is in fact a Dog-Teddy Bear hybrid (canis lupus ursidae teddimus) , as proved conclusively by this photo:
Okay, so now that the shameless adorable, happy-ending part of this blog post is over, I’d like to really plug the work done by folks at IdogIcat. They need more help in finding homes for the dogs and cats in their care. If you read Chinese, check out their blog here and help get the word out about their friends-in-need. That Zorro is a CUTIE PIE!!! Holy Moley I could never do what you do. I would end up without a place to sleep. My contribution is that I pet and talk to EVERY dog I see no matter how late I am, or how mean the owner. Particularly with older dogs/owners as they really need it.
And Robot, maybe you want to plug your sister’s show “Robot likes???” at the Midtown International Theatre Festival. I swear it’s great and getting better. Website is http://www.midtownfestival.org

Zorro’s new parents got him a full check-up at the vet yesterday, and he looks to be in pretty healthy shape.
